Ortho Impact protection helps your horse have a more comfortable back and rounded top line, and gives you a more secure seat with less stress on knees and ankles.

This traditional looking Western saddle pad features full length ortho impact inserts that cushion, protect and absorb energy. The inserts are encased in a high quality woven wool saddle blanket with WoolBack lining. The lining is cutout for optimal contouring to the horse’s wither and spine. There are genuine leather wear leathers, as well as cut outs for correctly placed leg. Note – the inserts are NOT removable.

Ortho Impact inserts are idea for general schooling and athletic performance. The ultra-light, contouring layer of high density XRD provides superior protection by absorbing 90% of impact. The 13mm layer of medium density viscoelastic foam offers superior musculoskeletal cushioning. Ortho-Impact is a great performance insert that can also help compensate for saddle fit and asymmetrical muscle development. It protects the horse while minimizing the shock felt by the rider, offering back relief and a more secure seat.
